Recognizing that we are all called to be stewards of God’s gifts, faithful to and thankful for the greatest treasure - the Eucharist. Be it resolved that through full participation in the Church’s sacraments and ministry, the faithful, thankful for what they have received, be led to generous giving of their time, talent and treasure, reinforcing trust in God’s divine providence and a deeper ownership and loyalty to the Church.

Be it resolved that the Church initiate ongoing formation opportunities and strategies to develop and strengthen Christian leadership in the local Church and the wider civil society and that in the formation of leaders, the Church adopt a model of servant leadership in imitation of Christ who said, “The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve.” (Mk10:45)

Be it resolved that everything we do as Church be Christ-centered and stewardship focussed, impelling all groups and movements, in the exercise of their charism and in a spirit of true stewardship to be more accountable and transparent.

Be it resolved that a fully resourced Stewardship Secretariat be established to enable the implementation of stewardship in the Archdiocese.

Be it resolved that all members of the Church take measures to affirm personal and communal responsibility for caring and preserving the integrity of human life, the temporal goods of the Church and the environment.
